Pin Importō

Keep Importō one click away. Pin it to Chrome’s toolbar so you don’t have to open the extensions menu every time you download a photo or video.

  • Click the puzzle icon in Chrome’s toolbar
  • Find Importō in the list
  • Click the pin so the icon stays visible

Step 2

Download a photo or video

In Google Drive, click a photo or video. By default, the file downloads right away and its download link is copied to your clipboard.

  • Go to drive.google.com
  • Click the photo or video you want
  • The download starts automatically

View your settings and download links

Open the Importō popup any time to see the last photo or video you clicked—its name and download link—ready to copy or download again. You can also change the extension’s settings in the popup.

How do I download a video from Google Drive in one click?

Install Importō, open Google Drive, and click the video. The download starts, and the download link is copied to your clipboard.

Does this work for Google Drive photos too?

Yes. Importō downloads photos and videos in Google Drive. It does not download other file types.

Can I copy the download link without saving the file again?

The popup keeps the last photo or video you clicked, including its name and download link, so you can copy the link or download again. Settings in the popup control whether a click starts the download immediately.

Do I need to sign in to Importō?

No. Importō does not ask you to create an account or sign in.
