Drive I/O Terms of Service

Welcome to Drive I/O, a Chrome extension that helps you copy folder structures and manage permissions within Google Drive. By using our extension, you agree to these terms:

Service Description

Drive I/O allows you to select folders in Google Drive, duplicate their structure and contents into another folder, and perform bulk permission deletions across multiple files and folders.

Google Account Use

You must be signed into the corresponding Google account that owns the Drive content you want to manage. Drive I/O operates exclusively within the signed-in account.

Data Storage

We store folder and file names and IDs on our servers for history tracking and functionality purposes. This data is not encrypted in storage.

Email Hashing and Abuse Prevention

We hash user email addresses in our database to manage free trial usage and detect abuse. If a user engages in malicious activity, we may retain their hashed email for fraud prevention and enforcement.

Data Sharing

No user data is sold, rented, or shared with any third parties.

Pricing and Notifications

Pricing for Drive I/O may change in the future. Users will receive at least 30 days' notice prior to any price adjustment.

Refund Policy

In cases of accidental charges due to software bugs, users can contact support for verification and a full refund.

AI Features

If Drive I/O integrates AI technology, you will be notified in advance and given the option to allow or deny use of your data for training.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with Google API usage policies and applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

Drive I/O is provided "as is" without any warranty. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service.

Updates to Terms

Changes to these terms will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use indicates acceptance of the new terms.
